It’s Scattering Stars Book Birthday!

 In Author

I can’t believe it’s been a year since Scattering Stars was published. The winter of 2016 was an exciting period of my life as I prepared to release my first book. Setting up a website and social media accounts, participating in blogs and cover reveals, and celebrating the big release day were never-to-be forgotten times. I’ve learned so much during my journey as an author, not just about producing a novel, but also about marketing and promotion. Fortunately, I had no idea how much I didn’t know!

Despite the challenges and setbacks, writing and publishing a book has been worth the effort. It’s the fulfillment of a lifelong dream, and there are still times it seems unreal that something I’ve created is actually in print. Of course, the subject matter of the story had occupied my mind for years, because I’ve always wanted to write about aliens. In fact, after Scattering Stars was published, I found a long-forgotten short story I had written twenty years ago entitled, Roswell Revelations, about a couple who travel to New Mexico and discover their alien ancestry. Maybe I’ll revise it someday and turn it into a full-length novel.

For the past year, I’ve been busy writing my second book, Acceleration. It’s a fast-paced, science fiction novel—inspired by the movie, Limitless—about the possibilities and pitfalls of neuroenhancement. It should be released in a few weeks!

As a special promotion for the first birthday of Scattering Stars, the eBook will be available on Amazon for 99 cents from April 20-25. If you haven’t already picked up a copy, here’s your chance!
